Annual Yard Sale

Students in fourth and fifth raised over 1,000! Thank you all for your generosity!

Parents,

                Our annual 4^th and 5^th grade yard sale will be on Friday, the 21st.  Students will need to bring the items they want to sell, money to make change, (I recommend quarters, and dollar bills),and decorations, ( if they choose to decorate) by Friday morning.  

The kids have created their business plans at school as well as their advertisement posters.  All students have a keen sense of what they need to do at home to prepare for this event.  The intention is for the students to have full ownership of their “business”.

Students are asked to sell their items in increments of .25 cents in order to make change easily. Pricing cannot exceed 10.00. (I have reminded students to not sell anything they are not ready to let go.)  All change and start up costs will be sent back home with your child on Friday. All profits will stay at school to be calculated on Monday.  All students have decided on a percentage of their profits to go to the Tomi Schaffer’s Scholarship which will also be calculated on Monday.
